SUPERBOWL 2009
Once again, the Superbowl Party hosted a sold out crowd for the Arizona Cardinals/Pittsburgh Steelers match up. With the kickoff at 6:30 AM Bangkok time, it was an early morning party. We opened the doors at 5 AM, and by the time the pre-game started at 5:30, the bar was half full with predawn revelers.
For those who braved the early start, it proved to be a spectacular game and even those rooting for Arizona had to admire the 100 yard interception return as time ran out in the first half. Bruce Springsteen's half time show, although not as controversial as Janet Jackson's, was enjoyable and as the second half got underway, hopes were high that Arizona would rebound.
Pittsburgh's game proved to be to much for the Cardinals, but Arizona did manage to beat the spread. Looking forward to next year's game already!
